Steps and Ladders Training

Under the Work at Height and P.U.W.E.R. regulations every person who Plans, organises, supervises, manages or works at height has a duty of care to both themselves and others to know and understand the practical implications of working safely at height and the equipment for use in such work.

A key requirement of these regulations is proof of competence. Successful completion of our Steps and Ladders training course provides this proof of competence. Delivered only by NEBOSH qualified instructors this course enables delegates to:

Use the Heirarchy of controls to select appropriate work equipment for the task.
Determine when the use of ladders and stepladders is appropriate.
Correctly position and safely use ladders and stepladders having regard to hazards.
Competently Inspect both ladders and stepladders for damage and suitability.

Delegates will also gain knowledge of:

Regulations and Legislation affecting work at height or work equipment for such use in such work
British and European Product standards and classifications for ladders and stepladders
Hazards affecting the safe use of ladders and stepladders

Upon successful completion every delegate will receive a certificate as their proof of competence.

Cost

Session price per delegate is £75.00 plus VAT although discounts are available for group bookings. Certificates are awarded to successful candidates and are valid for 5 years.
