Light Hire Ltd is an approved training centre for IPAF powered access and PASMA aluminium tower erection
and dismantling courses. Along with harness, steps and ladders, abrasive wheel and PAT testing courses we are able to fulfill many of your company training requirements either at our own facilities in Exeter and Barnstaple or at your own premises.
Ever increasing emphasis is being placed on the requirement for operators of work equipment to be trained, indeed many sites will no longer allow personnel to operate equipment or to erect aluminium towers without the relevant qualifications. The Health & Safety at Work Act Etc. 1974 and the Provision & Use of Equipment Regulations 1998 are in place to ensure that employers have a duty of care for their own employees, and all other persons, and must provide adequate training to operators, supervisors and managers of work equipment.
The Work at Height Regulations 2005 ensure that all work at height is properly planned, supervised and carried out in a safe manner and includes the selection of appropriate work equipment.
