Target Group
Any Person(s) who, as part of their working duties are involved in the erection, dismantling and use of mobile access towers.
Aims
The aim of this one day training course is to provide candidates with the necessary information to safely erect, use, inspect and dismantle aluminium or fibreglass mobile access towers.
Objectives
At the end of the instruction the candidates will be able to:
- Have an understanding of the statutory regulations
- Inspect mobile access tower equipment
- Understand safe working procedures
- Identify safe working heights
- Understand safe working loads
- Moving mobile access towers
- Use and inspect mobile access towers

- PASMA Code of Practice Safe Working At Heights
- Identifying mobile access tower equipment
- Manufacturers Instruction Manuals
- Ground and site conditions
- Sequence of erecting and dismantling mobile access towers
- Use of stabilisers, outriggers sole pads and ties
- Moving and repositioning erected towers
- Inspection report procedure
- Multi choice test paper
- Advanced Guardrails and 3T (Through The Trap) erection
- Practical Erection, moving, inspection and dismantling
Safety Requirements
As the instruction may be carried out on site, we will, of course adhere to the client’s site regulations and requirements.
PPE must be worn at all times throughout the practical element of the instruction.
